The Pneumatic and Hydraulic Training Board is an interactive, hands-on board
created to instruct trainees about the fundamentals of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
The board aims to improve student comprehension of these systems by allowing them
to interact directly with the board and its parts. Valves, breakers, and cylinders are some
of the features that make up the board. Trainees create the components in teams,
manipulate them to mimic the behavior of a hydraulic or pneumatic system, and then
use the components as part of their training. The findings indicate that hands-on
learning helps students better comprehend the underlying concepts of the systems.
Conclusions show that the board is a useful teaching tool for instructing students about
hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Consequences of this research Encourage trainees to
use the board to supplement conventional lectures by giving them opportunities to
obtain real-world experience. Research shows that the develop prototype pneumatic
hydraulic training board got a mean rating of 4.63 interpreted as very acceptable,
meanwhile, in workability the prototype got a mean rating of 4.51 interpreted as Very
Acceptable. Furthermore, the overall mean rating of the prototype got the average of
4.47 over all mean interpreted as very acceptable. Further research and development in
the retrofitting of other parts to improve its functionality and effectiveness were highly
recommended.
