This study focuses on the development of a portable thermoelectric cooler and heater system,
designed to provide an efficient solution for maintaining optimal temperatures in various
environments. The system utilizes thermoelectric coolers (TECs) to regulate the temperature
inside a 5-liter insulated container, allowing it to cool or heat items based on user-defined
settings. Unlike conventional cooling and heating devices, the system operates on DC power
from a vehicle's power supply, making it suitable for off-grid and portable applications without
reliance on refrigerants or external electricity sources. A temperature sensor continuously
monitors the internal temperature, while a fan ensures even air distribution to improve
efficiency. The system was fabricated using locally available materials, keeping costs low while
maintaining durability. Testing was conducted to evaluate the cooling and heating efficiency of
the system under real-world conditions. The results showed that the chiller successfully lowered
the internal temperature from 25°C to 13°C within a specific time frame, demonstrating its
effectiveness in cooling beverages. The heating function utilized waste heat from the TEC
module, efficiently maintaining temperatures suitable for warming food or drinks. Performance

experiments based on workability, effectiveness, aesthetic safety, economy, durability, and cost-
effectiveness. showed that the system met most of this study's objectives. Economics scored
lowest 4.36 and aesthetics highest 4.87 in our overall evaluation, which yielded an average score
of 4.65 out of 5.
