The study, Development of Fabrication Table for TIG Welding, aimed to design and fabricate a working table that enhances both efficiency and safety in industrial welding operations. The goal was build the welding table to enhance safety during welding. This prototype is particularly useful for Tungsten Inert Gas welding process. It has a Light Emitting Diodes (LED) lamp to enhance visibility for precise welding, exhaust fan helps to reduce welding fumes and smoke, tool storage that capable of storing welders’ tools and equipment, vise clamp for holding a workpiece during hand operations, and cut-off machine, it is also very convenient for cutting. The prototype evaluation has a high level of acceptability, indicating its functionality, aesthetics, durability, workability, economy, and safety. The fabrication table for TIG welding in terms of functionality was rated 4.73, aesthetic 4.6, durability 4.76, workability 4.7, economy 4.8, safety 4.6, and overall, 4.69 with a descriptive rating of “High Acceptable” on the gathered data from respondents by using the survey format. The prototype evaluated 50 respondents, including instructors, welding experts, and welding students. This prototype can weld and cut of different mild steel thickness and pipe dimensions. A galvanized iron pipe diameter can be cut was 20 mm to 100 mm, and mild steel plate thickness can cut with the thickness of 9 mm to 15 mm.
Keywords: welding table, safety, cut-off machine, Light Emitting Diode (LED) lamp, vise clamp, and exhaust fan.
