A missing pet is one of the most frightening feelings most fur parents do not want to
experience. Having the ability to monitor and locate pets quickly will make it easier for pet
owners. The study aims to help fur parents monitor their pets. Pawsmosys is an intelligent
wearable system used to monitor pets’ temperature, activity, and location through an
application. With just a tap in the application, pet owners can easily access information
about their pets from the data gathered by Pawsmosys. The prototype consists of an OLED,
MPU6050, GPS, and ESP32 camera modules attached to the pet for data gathering and an
application for the fur parent. The device has undergone different types of tests using nine
different dogs. There are a total of 50 respondents, which includes veterinarians, animal
rescuers, and pet owners. The average mean for evaluating the Pawsmosys device is 4.23,
with an equivalent descriptive rating of Very Acceptable.
