Program students' analytical ability. Technology dependence had the impact on
cognitive performance in the areas of analytical thinking, critical thinking, and
problem-solving to become an issue. Through a descriptive-correlational study,
levels of technology dependence and analysis skills of the students were
measured through questionnaires. The research sought to investigate how
technology could enhance or hinder the development of critical thinking skills and
problem-solving skills among students by determining the way technology affects
the skills. Findings indicated that a high correlation was found between
dependency on technology and the acquisition of analytical skills and highlighted
that while using technology had to be kept in balance, intellectual growth did as
well. The study identified that technology proved to be effective as a tool for
