The demand for audio visual mediums in College in Architecture and Fine
Arts (CAFA) are becoming more popular due to the emergence of internet with
multimedia platforms that improves the student's learning experience, with ease
and productivity, but the classrooms does not have enough equipment to imply that
kind of convenience to all the students inside the department. Thus, the study titled
"NEXUS SLIDESHOW: AN ADJUSTABLE POSITIONING PROJECTOR HOLDER
IN CAFA ROOM 302 - a versatile projector holder that can project around the
classroom, NEXUS SLIDESHOW offers flexibility to use audiovisual platforms
regardless to the room setting. The researchers have surveyed thirty (30) students,
ten (10) professors and ten (10) design professionals. The evaluation of the
product will be based on its functionality, durability, design and appearance,
ergonomics and safety. Among the five-category, Functionality got the highest
weighted mean of 4.43, which described "Very Good" in descriptive rating,
followed by Design and Appearance with the weighted mean of 4.42 described as
“Very Good”. Ergonomics with the weighted mean of 4.32 described as “Very
Good”. Durability with the weighted mean of 4.29 described as “Very Good”.
Lastly for Safety with the weighted mean of 4.24 described as “Very Good”. With
the overall mean of 4.34 which was described as "Very Good". The process of
evaluation is conducted through online survey, and it shows the descriptive
meaning of “Very Good”. This means that NEXUS SLIDESHOW is acceptable and
recommended as versatile projector holder, that has functions that assist the users
with ease and convenience, and to go along with the current emerging trends.
