The hydraulic press machine was developed and constructed according to the specified requirements and specifications to fulfill its intended purposes. The main objective of this prototype is to assist the Construction Engineering Department with activities related to the school, such as manufacturing of particle boards. The primary parts of the hydraulic press machine consist of the hydraulic bottle jack, acting as the main source of force, and the H-frame, which offers structural support. The press plate features a guidepost to maintain correct alignment during the pressing procedure. Additionally, the hydraulic bottle jack can be replaced or improved with a higher capacity model of up to 20 tons, based on the needed load. The prototype's design, especially the H-frame, is expected to support loads of up to 20 tons, while the current hydraulic bottle jack bears a maximum lifting capacity of 10 tons. For ease of operation, the hydraulic jack is equipped with a 2-meterlong handle to allow more convenient pumping. The total weight of the prototype is approximately 440 kg. The prototype recorded an average mixture preparation time of 15 minutes and an average pressing time of 3.2 minutes, with successful trials completing the process in as fast as 2 minutes and 1 second. These times may vary based on operator skill and pumping speed. The overall mean rating was 4.44, with a descriptive rating of "Very Good," based on feedback from 61 students at different universities.
