This study focuses on developing a Management Information System (MIS) with a Scheduling<br/>System for the W. Ramos Diagnostic Laboratory to increase efficiency and give ease to patients<br/><br/>who want laboratory tests. The system has a user, admin, and Cashier account, an appointment-<br/>scheduling feature, service management, and a payment via QR Code. The web-based system was<br/><br/>created by using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and MySQL. The MIS with scheduling<br/>system was evaluated based on ISO25010 standards, involving 30 respondents via an online<br/>survey questionnaire. The evaluation findings showed that the MIS with scheduling system<br/>successfully satisfied the patient and clinic employees in terms of functional suitability,<br/>performance efficiency, compatibility, usability, reliability, security, maintainability, and<br/>portability, with a grand weighted mean of 3.65, described as “Strongly Agree”. In summary, all<br/>of the features of MIS with Scheduling system have shown to be useful in increasing the<br/>Laboratory’s workflow. Future development should focus on adding Chatbot for questions and<br/>Google sign-up and log in. |
