In the fast-moving, technologically driven world of today, effective inventory<br/>management plays an important role in the efficient functioning of any organization. This<br/>holds true for universities as well, where the supply office is responsible for distributing<br/>various resources to support the academic and administrative needs of the institution.<br/><br/>Traditionally, inventory management in universities has been a manual and time-<br/>consuming process, often leading to inefficiencies, delays, and errors. The reliance on<br/><br/>outdated paper-based systems and spreadsheets can result in difficulties in tracking<br/>inventory, maintaining accurate tracking of missing equipment if there are any and meeting<br/>the demands of faculty, staff, and students. With the help of Web Based Inventory System,<br/>the poor management of inventory in supply office of TUP-Manila, can be reduced and so<br/>a Web Based Inventory Management System entitled, Web Based Inventory Management<br/>System for Supply Office of TUP-Manila is created. The primary objective of this study is<br/>to create a web based inventory management system that can be used to have an efficient<br/>and more accurate inventory management system for the supply office of TUP. MySql and<br/>HTML were used to create the frontend of the system and as for the backend, PHP and<br/>Javascript were the Programming Language used in this study. Based on the test result, the<br/>system demonstrated exceptional performance in all evaluation criteria. The Web Based<br/>Inventory Management System for Supply office of TUP-Manila is able to filter the list<br/>through live search, add the admins and input all the necessary information to the inventory,<br/>allow them to update the information of the equipment and other details, print the<br/>memorandum receipt and sticker with its QR code, generate a report list, track what has<br/>been done to the system, backup and restore database. The Web Based Inventory<br/>Management System for Supply office of TUP-Manila’s responsiveness towards user<br/>interfaces when updating the inventory of the system and logging in of the users. The<br/>Evaluation result also show high acceptability when it comes to Functional Suitability,<br/>Performance Efficiency, Interaction Capability, Maintainability. |
