Summary, etc. The management of international students in vocational colleges is vital
for higher education in China, particularly in Guangxi, which has been a
destination for international students since 1953. Effective management is
essential for Guangxi's global engagement and diplomatic, economic, cultural, political, and educational exchanges.
However, the rapid increase in
international students presents significant challenges, necessitating urgent
attention. This study aims to enhance the educational management of
international students in Guangxi's vocational colleges. The research adopts a
"problem identification, root cause analysis, and strategy proposal" framework,
focusing on enrollment management, teaching management, daily life
management, and scholarship and employment management. Six vocational
colleges were examined to identify issues, their causes, and challenges in
these areas. Additionally, successful international student management
practices from foreign universities were analyzed for comparison. The concurrent embedded design combines qualitative and
quantitative data collection from international students, teachers, experts, and
literature. The findings reveal that the main issues stem from vague
management roles, low enrollment standards, weakened training functions, and insufficient student preparation. Based on these findings, the study recommends several measures to
improve management:
Enhancing government education policies.

VI

Promoting international exchange and cooperation.
Improving the learning atmosphere and training systems. Strengthening the service capabilities of management personnel. Developing mechanisms to encourage student learning.
In conclusion, addressing these areas will significantly improve the
management of international students in Guangxi's vocational colleges,
thereby enhancing their educational experiences and supporting Guangxi's
global engagement efforts.

Keywords: international students, vocational education, management
