Summary, etc. The study entitled Development of Water Quality Monitoring System for Fishpond is<br/>effective and applicable to monitor the four water quality parameters including the<br/>dissolved oxygen, potential hydrogen, turbidity, and temperature using the long-range<br/>wide area network. The machine can monitor the water quality approximately 2 to 3 km<br/>wide area coverage. It is also aimed to generate dissolved oxygen to solve to unusual<br/>amount of oxygen in fishpond. The prototype was powered by batteries. The prototype<br/>was tested in terms of accuracy by comparing it from the water quality parameter meters.<br/>The prototype was also tested in terms of functionality of each component whether it is<br/>functional or not. Using this prototype, the paddle wheels generate dissolved oxygen to<br/>solve the insufficient amount of dissolved oxygen in the fishpond. When the prototype<br/>reaches the maximum amount of dissolved oxygen, the machine will automatically stop.<br/>The prototype was tested between the existing water quality meters and sensors. The<br/>percentage difference between the D.O meter and D.O sensor were 5.55%, the ph meter<br/>and ph sensor were 20.90%, the temperature meter and temperature sensor were 13.46%.<br/>and turbidity meter and turbidity sensor were 3.01%. The prototype was evaluated using<br/>TUP evaluation instrument obtained an overall numeral rating of 4.58 with the<br/>descriptive rating of “Excellent”. With a highest rating of 4.80 at “Safety” The test and<br/>evaluation results prove that the prototype is an effective device that can be used as new<br/>technique in monitoring the different water quality parameters.
