Summary, etc. The purpose of the Project development of a manual engraving machine is to put an imprint<br/>on the surface of the tube/pipe. The machine will help the small industry of pipe/tube<br/>suppliers in the Philippines to make their product traceable by putting a marking. The main<br/>objectives of this study are to develop an engraver that will mark the important<br/>manufacturing details such as the date, month, and properties of their product. This was<br/>achieved by using manual engraving instead of laser engraving that cost more expensive<br/>compared to a manual engraver. Test results had shown that the machine could engrave up<br/>to Ø19.0x250mm to Ø35x250mm with the thickness of t=1.6mm to t=3.2mm. The use of<br/>manual engraver increases the workability and availability of materials in the local market.<br/>The prototype is presented to thirty (30) evaluators to determine its performance. The<br/>performance of the machine is evaluated by 30 evaluators and obtained the mean score of<br/>4.40 which means Very Good. This concludes that the manual tube engraver had managed<br/>to achieve the traceability of the product. The material used in the engraver is 4140 steel<br/>and other hi-tensile steel, which will make the engraver long-lasting and improves the<br/>performance of the machine.
