Summary, etc. This research investigates the development and evaluation of a<br/>Pedal-Operated Street Sweeper integrated with a motorized roller broom,<br/>designed to enhance street cleaning operations while prioritizing worker<br/>productivity. The primary objective is to reduce the workforce demand for street<br/>cleaners by automating key aspects of the cleaning process, thereby improving<br/>operational efficiency. By combining a pedal-powered mechanism associated<br/>with a battery connected to the motor powering the main tubular design of the<br/>broom, causing it to rotate and be operational, the system offers an eco-friendly<br/>alternative to fuel-dependent equipment for municipal waste management. The<br/>research employs a design analysis, requirements assessment, and user<br/>surveys conducted with 30 street sweepers to evaluate functionality, workability,<br/>aesthetics, and safety. Survey results indicate notable improvements in efficiency<br/>and user satisfaction, with an impact associated with reducing manual labor. The<br/>findings reveal average mean scores of 3.16 for functionality, 3.10 for workability,<br/>3.26 for aesthetics, and 3.15 for safety. This study concludes that the<br/>Pedal-Operated Street Sweeper is a practical, performance, worker-friendly<br/>urban street maintenance innovation.
