Students get a deeper comprehension of the course material while using the Mechatronics<br/>Training Board to demonstrate concepts and evaluate student performance in the lab. The<br/>Mechatronics Training Board helps students grasp the course content better and use it to<br/>explain concepts and assess students’ learning. This makes it easier for the user to handle the<br/>challenging wiring simulation and improve their critical thinking. The material used for the<br/>construction of the training device which is the prototype’s side covering is 822 x 604mm<br/>plywood. The design of the prototype is portable and easily transportable. It is applied in<br/>performing the experiment as prescribed and is used to house motor control, PLC, and<br/>electro-pneumatic components. The prototype is developed with locally available resources.<br/>The potential users then tested the feasibility and usability of the prototype and conducted an<br/>evaluation of the prototype. Fifty people were examined including four (4) academic<br/>members, one (1) professional, twenty-nine (29) electrical students, and fifteen (15)<br/>electronics students from the Technological University of the Philippines. The result of the<br/>Technological University of the Philippines, College of Industrial Technology Evaluation<br/>Instrument is 4.59 and the descriptive mean is “Highly Acceptable”. The usability and<br/>effectiveness of the prototype have made it a very useful tool in improving students’ learning<br/>achievements and encouraging them to be more practical in their mechatronics education.<br/>Furthermore, mechatronics research and innovation have been improved by the prototype's<br/>design and development, and there is a good likelihood that educational institutions will<br/>adopt it broadly.
