Summary, etc. This study, Development of Automatic Lighting and Ventilation Controlled System, aims<br/><br/>to help the students and faculty members of Technological University of the Philippines-<br/>Quezon Extension Campus to avoid over usage of ceiling fans and lights by forgotten to<br/><br/>switch off the switches in the classroom when leaving the room. It has a features like limit<br/>switch which trigger to the Arduino and the Arduino sending to the switches to trigger<br/>switch on, and when the Passive Infrared Sensor didn’t sense a human presence even the<br/>doors are open the fans are switch off ,the sensitivity range of Passive infrared sensor is<br/>10m from the sensor. The system was developed with the temperature sensor whose sense<br/>the temperature of environment which programmed to the Arduino which the Arduino<br/>trigger to the ceiling fan for the speed and the sensitivity range of temperature sensor if low<br/>temperature is 20 degree Celsius which is number 1 in the manual switch of ceiling fan and<br/>the high temperature is 27 degree Celsius and in the manual switch of ceiling fan it is 5.Test<br/>results showed that the device is functioned as a designed .The device was evaluated by 30<br/>evaluators composed of fourth year students, first year students, professors, and Master<br/>Electrician under the Technological University of the Philippines-Quezon Extension<br/>Campus and it was rated with an overall mean of 4.39 with a descriptive rating of “Very<br/>Good”. This signifies that the device is useful to all students and faculty members in terms<br/>of utilizing classrooms.
