Summary, etc. The world is demand for the usage of wood-related materials have been found increasing every year due to the rapid development that the world is undertaking. In this study, it aims to develop a composite board product using banana fiber and cement as its raw materials. Cement bonded boards developed following the mix ratio of 95:5, 90:10, and 85:15 cement to fiber ratio with a board density of 1000 kg/m3. The cement bonded board have been subjected into a test to determine its property such as water absorption and thickness swelling for physical properties; modulus of rupture and face screw holding for mechanical properties in accordance the Philippine National Standard (PNS). The results of the experiment show that mix ratio 90:10 that was cured for 28 days attains the highest result for both physical and mechanical properties. It is found out that the distribution and amount of fiber had a significant effect on the quality of the board thus failing a various test. The obtained evaluation of the product from students and faculties shows a descriptive interpretation of very acceptable with a mean average of 4.39. Furthermore, this illustrates that the used of banana fiber as a raw material could be used for developing a composite board.
