Summary, etc. The study, Development of Anti-Theft Detection Device is an innovation of a manual cut<br/>off switch which aims to provide help to the owner of cars without electronic control unit<br/>(ECU). The innovation is made so that vehicles without ECU can go into with the<br/>modern technology. There are sensory devices located on the door and inside the driver‟s<br/>seat, and a hidden camera is located inside the car that if anyone who opens the door and<br/>sit on the driver‟s seat, the device alerts the owner by sending SMS messages to the<br/>owner‟s mobile phone. Upon opening of the door of the car, the device will automatically<br/>captures a photo of the interior of the vehicle, specifically on the driver‟s seat, and send it<br/>to the mobile phone of the owner so that he will know who is inside the car. If the person<br/>inside the car is an intruder, the owner will send SMS message to cut off the connection<br/>to the starter motor and fuel feed so that the intruder cannot start the engine anymore. The<br/>detection device and the camera are hidden somewhere inside the vehicle that the intruder<br/>will be completely unaware of the device. The project was evaluated by 10 people, of<br/>different profession. The project obtained a mean rating of 4.08, “Very Acceptable” in<br/>the interpretation table. Based on the result, suggestions, and recommendations of the<br/>evaluators, the researchers concluded that the device is very useful and beneficial to the<br/>car owners.<br/><br/>
