This study “CAFA – CENTRO: THE DEVELOPMENT OF STAGE FOR<br/>TUP CAFA ATRIUM” aims to improve the stage's aesthetics by using a<br/>carefully designed background that compliments the overall ambiance of the<br/>TUP CAFA Atrium. The backdrop's goal is to contribute to the artistic<br/>attractiveness of the stage while also addressing practical factors for effective<br/>utilization during various events or performances. This project attempts to<br/>develop a background that not only acts as a visual focal point but also<br/>improves the entire experience for both performers and audience members<br/>through a thorough design approach. The development of this stage backdrop<br/>involves considerations such as artistic elements, functionality, and integration<br/>with the existing space, with the ultimate goal of transforming the TUP CAFA<br/>Atrium into a more dynamic and aesthetically pleasing performance venue.<br/>This research was done by survey on January 15, 2023 with fifty<br/>respondents who are composed of ten professionals, ten CAFA Professors<br/>and thirty CAFA Students. The respondents gave 4.59 for functionality, 4.93<br/>for workability, 4.35 for durability, 4.5 for appearance and the safety criteria<br/>have an average rating of 4.48, With the Overall Mean of 4.49, the design<br/>structure is defined as “Very Good”.<br/>The panel of experts recommend including charging outlets on the<br/>shelves so that the users will be able to utilize the space more, installing of<br/>retractable stairs at the left and right wing of the stage for better accessibility<br/>and use oil or grease in the door’s mechanism for it to slide more smoothly. |
