This research study presents an innovative modular drawing table<br/>specifically created for the workshop area at the College of Architecture and Fine<br/>Arts (CAFA). Hence, this study entitled "Raynayan: A Modular Drafting Table In<br/>Cafa Workshop Room," is designed to cater to the changing requirements of<br/>architecture and fine arts students and professionals. The table has a functional<br/>and flexible design, including adjustable height, changeable arrangement, and<br/>storage options to cater to different user preferences and work styles. By using a<br/>thorough approach that includes evaluating needs, creating many prototypes, and<br/>gathering input from users, this groundbreaking workstation is designed to meet<br/>the precise demands of the CAFA community.<br/>This article covers the progression from conceptualization to realization,<br/>emphasizing the process of designing, notable characteristics of RAYNAYAN, and<br/>the insights gained. In addition to its immediate use, it also acts as a catalyst for<br/>conversations on flexible workplaces and the use of modular furniture in creative<br/>fields. The researcher has surveyed 50 respondents with relevance to the project<br/>including students, interior designers, industrial designers, architects, engineers,<br/>and teachers. Hence, the respondence were categorized into three whereas, forty<br/>40 Students, five (Design Professionals), and five (5) Faculty Members. The<br/>results show that the respondents positively perceive the prototype. It only shows<br/>that the project Raynayan received an outstanding overall mean score, affirming<br/>its excellence in delivering convenience, comfort, and utility, effectively meeting its<br/>intended purpose. |
