This study, Development of oil suction equipment limited for front-wheel drive, aims for<br/>faster draining of oil with an average time of 1 minute and 40 seconds up to 2 minutes<br/>per liter. The prototype sucks engine oil, transmission oil, and differential oil at the same<br/>time so that the time consumed is less. The main target of this study is a small automotive<br/>workshop. The prototype works. First, the user needs to plug the Teflon tube into the inlet<br/>of oil in the engine, transmission, and differential. Then the user uses the manual rotary<br/>pump’s suction power; the user rotates the handle of the rotary hand pump from clockwise<br/>to counterclockwise to suck manually. While suctioning, the used oil will be stored in a<br/>polypropylene container. Then, the prototype undergoes a series of testing procedures.<br/>However, the benefits of this study target small automotive workshops only. Then, the<br/>project was evaluated by 25 evaluators, such as automotive professors, students, and<br/>technicians. The prototype got a 4.52 total mean, which is equivalent to an excellent<br/>remark. This demonstrates that the strategy is advantageous to all students, professors, and<br/>automobile mechanics working in small shops. |
