520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. This research investigates the employment experiences of physically challenged
individuals in Filipino organizations, emphasizing existing policies like the Magna Carta
for Disabled Persons. Despite legislative support, challenges persist, including negative
attitudes and inadequate facilities, leading to underemployment among disabled workers.
Using qualitative methods, the study conducted semi-structured interviews with HR
professionals across education, local government, and BPO sectors. Key findings highlight
that inclusive workplace practices enhance job satisfaction and performance for disabled
employees. However, issues such as insufficient manager training on diversity and limited
funding for workplace modifications remain.
The research advocates for tailored HR policies and continuous employee training
on disability awareness to foster inclusivity. Ultimately, it aims to guide organizations in
enhancing diversity and supporting physically impaired staff, contributing to a more
equitable workforce that benefits both employees and organizations.
