Summary, etc. The increased accumulation of plastic waste is a serious environmental issue with the need
for innovative means of effective recycling. This study is focused on developing an
Automated Recycling Machine that integrates a shredder and an extruder to convert PET and
HDPE materials into reusable raw material. The project aims to enhance the efficacy of
plastic waste processing through automation, minimizing the amount of manual intervention.
The device has an automated extruder system that efficiently converts shredded plastic waste
into recyclable material. An operational control interface is used to provide real-time
monitoring of the operations of the system, including shredding, quality of extruded material,
and overall performance. To test the performance of the machine, its efficiency during
operation, material flow, energy consumption, and quality of extruded material were tested
through intensive testing. In addition, the system was tested using the ISO 25010:2011
standard, with focus on Functional Suitability, Performance Efficiency, Usability,
Readability, and Portability.Findings show that the created system effectively automates the
recycling procedure, exhibiting great efficiency and dependability. The research finds that
the suggested automated recycling device offers a practical answer for managing plastic
waste. Future improvements, including sophisticated temperature regulation systems and
additional refinement of extrusion settings, are suggested to enhance system efficiency and
scalability.
