The study focuses on developing a Smart Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) system for<br/>tracking and emergency monitoring in hazardous environments. The system integrates<br/>RFID technology with a server-based system to provide monitoring, tracking, and<br/>emergency response capabilities. RFID tags embedded in PPE communicate with<br/>strategically placed readers to monitor worker location, health status, and environmental<br/>conditions. Data collected from RFID tags is transmitted to a central server for processing<br/>and analysis. In restricted floors, the system triggers alerts to designated personnel,<br/>minimizing accident risk. An accident monitoring solution uses an accelerometer to detect<br/>changes in speed in fall accidents. Foreman and administrator receive direct<br/>communication to identify accidents on site. The project was assessed by 50 respondents,<br/>including 44 laborers and 6 technical experts, with a grand mean score of 3.61. The<br/>researchers used the CIT evaluation approach and concluded that Vercel Web was a great<br/>choice for tracking and monitoring smart PPE, local materials and technical expert advice<br/>were helpful, and the project is useful and safe due to its features. |
