The integration of technology in the modern fitness landscape has become significant for<br/>gyms and fitness centers to remain competitive and adapt to the developing demands of the<br/>clients. EnergyA Fitness & Athletics Center, a fitness and athletics center, acknowledges<br/>the importance of integrating technology by implementing an online platform that provides<br/>a coherent transaction between the clients and its administrator. As a response to these<br/>advancements, the study entitled “EnergyA Fitness & Athletics: A Web-Based Fitness and<br/>Athletics Center Management Application Integrated with QR Code for Attendance and<br/>Revenue Forecasting” explores the development of an online platform as an alternative to<br/>the manual process of attendance tracking, membership application, monitoring and<br/>forecasting of revenue for EnergyA. The system enables the administrators to manage<br/>reports for forecasting revenue, classes, services, facilities, coaches, membership and QR<br/>codes for attendance tracking. Furthermore, it enhances the customer experience by<br/>browsing through its offers and easier attendance for members via QR codes. This study<br/>was evaluated under the ISO/IEC 25010, an evaluation instrument based on Functional<br/>Suitability and Reliability to identify the level of adequacy of the system. The results<br/>indicated that the system is highly functional, with attributes that satisfy the required result<br/>under various conditions. It also adjudges to be reliable, as it is working intendedly under<br/>specific conditions. The results also showed that it is highly reliable as it obtained an overall<br/>weighted mean of 3.66 and is described as “Highly Acceptable” by the thirty-five<br/>respondents. The study showed that the development of a web-based application for the<br/>EnergyA Fitness and Athletics Center brought convenience to the clients and enabled the<br/>EnergyA with increased operational efficiency. |
