FitHub Connect is a web-based application developed to bridge the gap between gym<br/>owners and fitness enthusiasts by providing a comprehensive, user-friendly digital platform.<br/>The said web application addresses most of the fitness industry challenges, which include<br/>difficulty finding suitable gyms, lack of transparency in membership offers like hidden fees,<br/>and the social pressure that discourages many people. Especially those who have no confidence<br/>in their body type, which blocks them from engaging in fitness spaces. Drawing inspiration<br/>from prior studies on web applications in healthcare and service discovery, the system is<br/>designed to promote inclusivity, accessibility, and informed decision-making. The application<br/>was built using modern web technologies, including PHP, CSS, and Javascript for the front and<br/>PHP and MySQL for the backend. It offers core features such as real-time search and filtering,<br/>online booking and membership applications, secure payment integration, user reviews, and<br/>social components to build community interaction. Gym owners are equipped with dashboards<br/>to manage memberships, monitor revenue, and track user engagement through analytics. The<br/>platform was found to be able to improve the overall experience of users searching, finding,<br/>and engaging with the right gym for them. All according to the feedback gathered from early<br/>users who tested the platform. This study demonstrates the potential of digital platforms to<br/>transform how fitness services are accessed and managed. Fithub Connect not only contributes<br/>to a more open and health-conscious society but also supports users in leading more active and<br/>good lifestyle habits by simplifying gym discovery, gym subscription, and encouragement of<br/>community participation. |
