Summary, etc. The objective of this study is to produce a biodegradable plastic sheet from mung bean<br/>starch used cooking oil. This methodology aims to minimize the environmental impact of<br/>waste frying oil and plastic, which are two serious sources of terrestrial and aquatic<br/>pollution, as well as waste management problems for the food and environmental industry.<br/>The series of operations include extracting starch, forming the bioplastic and packing the<br/>end product. The mung bean-based bioplastic made use of mung bean starch, coconut and<br/>palm oil, glycerol, sorbitol, citric acid, soy lecithin. Various analysis were conducted to<br/>ascertain that the material could serve as a substitute to biopolymer plastic introduced into<br/>the market, including microbial analysis to total plate count by pour plate CCU/g (1.10),<br/>pH test; the tensile strength result was obtained as 6.0 MPa, soil burial test revealed the<br/>structural driven weakening of the material integrity and almost full decomposition on the<br/>final day, Barrier property near zero (oxygen permeability) by gravimetric method and<br/>moisture permeability obtained 6.12 using desiccant method both passed based on<br/>standard. To make the end product biodegradable, he used an environmentally friendly<br/>packaging material (bioplastic sheet primary packaging, kraft board primary secondary<br/><br/>packaging). Moreover, the product was evaluated with a TUP prototype using a likert-<br/>scale to measure its features. This review reported a mean score of 4.25, which represents<br/><br/>a very good acceptability. In this way, BSP described here was also good in properties<br/>such as a gloss, touch, durability, and other properties.
