Summary, etc. The manual preparation of halo-halo, such as manual scooping and measuring of<br/>toppings, leads to uneven portions, long waiting times, and possible hygiene issues.<br/>These problems can impact the quality of the product and customer satisfaction. Due to<br/>this, the researchers aimed to solve these problems by designing and building a<br/>semi-automated halo-halo making machine that can enhance the production of halo-halo.<br/>The machine has main features such as a user-interface panel where the user can choose<br/>up to eight different toppings, an ice chamber, an automatic ice shaver, and eight separate<br/>topping dispensers. It can produce 8 cups, each containing 16 ounces of halo-halo, in 6-7<br/>minutes. The performance of the machine was tested based on how consistent the<br/>portions are and the overall quality of the halo-halo. The study also looked into the<br/>cost-effectiveness and efficiency of the production process. This project aimed to<br/>improve the way halo-halo is prepared, while keeping the traditional charm of this<br/>well-loved Filipino dessert.
