Summary, etc. This study aims to solve the inefficiencies in conventional tool storage and retrieval<br/>systems used in Industrial Arts laboratories, therefore causing major motion waste. These<br/>inefficiencies limit students' capacity to participate successfully in hands-on learning,<br/>hence decreasing the amount of time accessible for practical skill development and<br/>maybe endangering safety. The goal of this study is to improve student learning efficiency<br/>by creating a portable mobile tool cart tailored for use in automotive laboratories.<br/>Using a user-centered design approach, the solution aimed to reduce motion<br/>waste, increase tool access, and improve general workspace organization. Using a<br/>mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative data, the effectiveness<br/>of the tool cart was evaluated. Observations, surveys, and time- motion analyses were<br/>carried out to assess its laboratory efficiency and impact on student performance.<br/>When using the portable mobile tool cart in place of conventional techniques, the<br/>results showed a major decrease in motion waste and remarkable increases in student<br/>learning efficiency. Student comments stressed how well the cart helped them to:<br/>navigate the lab more quickly, access tools more readily, and focus on practical tasks.<br/>Industrial arts instructors trying to maximize learning environments and enhance student<br/>performance will find insightful knowledge in these findings.
