Summary, etc. The rising costs of motorcycle tires and their environmental impact due to improper<br/>disposal have led to the development of a motorized motorcycle tire recapping machine.<br/>This study is focused on designing and fabricating a compact and efficient tire recapping<br/>machine to provide an alternative method for restoring worn-out tires while promoting<br/>sustainability. The prototype consists of five main components: frame, tire holder, buffing<br/>tool, slide plate, and swing arm, all designed to streamline the recapping process. The<br/>machine was tested to evaluate its curing time, buffing efficiency, mold preheating<br/>duration, and maximum load capacity. Results show that the mold temperature gradually<br/>increased from 145°C to 190°C within an hour, ensuring proper adhesion of the new rubber<br/>layer. The buffing tool efficiently prepared the tire surface, while the preheating test<br/>confirmed the mold reached optimal temperature in 34–36 minutes. Load capacity tests<br/>demonstrated that the recapped tires successfully supported up to 450 kg without<br/>deformation. The machine was evaluated based on functionality, workability, durability,<br/>safety, aesthetics, and economy, resulting in an overall rating of very good with a mean<br/>score of 4.67. The findings confirm the prototype's efficiency and reliability, contributing<br/>to the advancement of tire recapping technology and environmental sustainability.
