This mix-method study aimed to promote Asin Tibuok and raise awareness of its<br/>historical and cultural significance with the help of Ad campaigns and Augmented Reality. It<br/>also aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of AR as a tool for promoting Asin Tibuok. This study<br/>implements the AIDA model and the TAM model which guide the campaigns' structure and<br/>evaluation. This study informed how integrating innovative promotional strategies, such as<br/>augmented reality, could generate consumer interest and contribute to the preservation and<br/>increasedawareness of endangered cultural heritage, specifically Asin Tibuok.<br/><br/>The campaign Parat nga Bahandi seeks to increase awareness and appreciation for this<br/>endangered culinary product, Asin Tibuok, through the help of strategic design and modern<br/>technology. A post survey was conducted among Gen X, millennials, and Gen Z around<br/>Metro Manila to evaluate the campaign’s effectiveness. According to the gathered data, the<br/>findings revealed that the campaign had successfully increased awareness and resonated well<br/>with the younger audiences. The study demonstrated how effective design and technology can<br/>work together to promote and support local artisans to save a dying tradition. |
