Summary, etc. The durian fruit industry is vital to Southeast Asian countries' economies, and mechanization offers opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce labor requirements, and meet growing market demands. Traditional manual methods are time-consuming and physically demanding, prompting the development of mechanized systems to optimize processes and increase productivity. The study focused on the advancements in durian fruit harvesting. The design and fabrication of a multifunctional durian fruit harvesting and pruning machine incorporated essential capabilities such as fruit stalk cutting, tree branch pruning, and fruit storage. Testing and evaluation of the prototype's performance in terms of cutting efficiency, pruning quality, and load capacity. The test results of the prototype in terms of cutting efficiency was 2.35 minutes per fruit, in terms of pruning the prototype has an average of 87.5% pruning performance, and the load capacity was determined to carry a maximum of 70kg., in terms of field efficiency, the prototype can harvest 25 fruits in 80 minutes from area covering three trees. The evaluation highlighted durability as the highest-rated dimension at 4.72, indicating robustness, while safety received the lowest rating of 4.48, suggesting areas for improvement. The overall mean score of 4.64 with a descriptive rating of "Excellent, affirming its efficacy in fulfilling intended functions.
