The general objective of this study is to design and develop a mortar sprayer with wall plaster finisher that can make construction easier. The study aims to create a mortar sprayer with wall plaster finisher that has the following characteristics; to help construction worker; to shorten the time it takes to plaster and also to reduce manpower labor costs and to achieve a high-quality plastering product in terms of consistency; and compaction in comparison to a manual application. This study developed and fabricated a mortar sprayer with wall plaster finisher using locally available materials: Composed of the following; Air Compressor, which aims to easily push the mortar into the wall with the proper compaction and assembled Handle,to control and manage the flow of air coming from the air compressor. This study conducted series of test and improve the functions and reliability of the mortar sprayer with wall plaster finisher and evaluated its acceptability based on the evaluation instrument of Technological University of the Philippines. This study developed a prototype and was proven reliable. It was tested based on the accurate plastering and finishing performance using an air pressure of 100 to 120 PSI. With the help of 30 evaluators, including licensed civil engineers, construction workers, and TUPQ third year students, altogether they evaluated the acceptability of the prototype using the validated questionnaires and it generally gained an average weighted mean of 4.368 and was interpreted as "Very Acceptable". |
