520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. This research study explores the development of a Weaving Facility Complex in the province of Nueva Vizcaya to support the local weaving communities and revive their nearly lost weaving tradition. Utilizing surveys and interviews with tourists, local residents, weavers and stakeholders, the study identified the need for dedicated infrastructure, reliable source of raw materials, capacity development among weavers, and product development to enhance weaver’s socio-economic status, weaving activities, cultural engagement and passing of traditional knowledge. Findings reveal that such facility could significantly boost tourism, elevate income opportunities, and sustain indigenous weaving traditions. The proposed design of the weaving complex will integrate weaving workshops, exhibition spaces, cultural gallery, offices and retail shops, addressing the gaps in the province’s culture and arts development plan. This proposal emphasizes the significance of cultural preservation and economic sustainability, serving as a model for similar initiatives in other regions.
