Summary, etc. Lifting and loading systems play an important role in material handling by improving
productivity and enhancing workplace safety. Motorized hoists provide an efficient
solution for lifting heavy loads while significantly reducing manual labor and physical
strain on workers. However, traditional manual lifting methods are time-consuming, physically demanding, and prone to safety risks such as improper load handling and
workplace injuries. To address these challenges, a motorized hoist–based lifting and
loading system was designed to ensure smoother operation, better load stability, and
improved efficiency. Then, the researchers tested and analyzed the system in terms of
timeliness and functional efficiency based on hypothesis testing techniques.Test
results show that the machine is much slower than manual lifting but as we conducted
an interview among workers they said that time isn’t the problem, Its how many
injuries they experienced to lift a billboard tarpaulin. This system enables controlled
lifting and positioning of loads, minimizing human effort and reducing the likelihood
of accidents. Overall, the use of a motorized hoist benefits both workers and
organizations by increasing operational efficiency, promoting safer working
conditions, and supporting more sustainable material-handling practices. Keywords: lifting and loading system, motorized hoist, billboard tarpaulin
