Summary, etc. The Development of IoT-Based Aeroponics System project study was designed to
monitor, detect, and provide efficiency for modern technology when dealing with
farming. This IoT-based aeroponics automation system is intended for fruit cultivation
at optimal environmental conditions with very minimal human intervention. The
critical environmental parameters like temperature, humidity, pH level, and intervals
for nutrient misting are continuously monitored through sensors. Based on real-time
data, the system uses programmed microcontrollers to automatically adjust these
variables, always ensuring ideal growth conditions. Additionally, the system can
provide alarms and performance updates via a linked interface, allowing users to
remotely monitor and manage the configuration. This level of automation enhances
efficiency, reduces resource wastage, and supports consistent plant development. All
the tests were performed and met the expected outcomes. Thus, all the evaluation
results passed. It was evaluated by 25 respondents, composed of 11 Students and 14
Farmers in Laguna, and was assessed using Likert’s Scale and descriptive
interpretation, which used the TUP evaluation instrument to get all the means for
Performance Efficiency, Reliability, Usability, Portability, and Satisfaction. The grand
mean obtained was 4.21 out of 5, which is described as “Very Good”. The study
concluded based on it findings and result that (1) the prototype can grow fruits
aeroponically; (2) the project is highly functional and recommended for small scale
businesses not only to farmers but also to simple people like us; (3) the use local and
cheap yet high quality materials maintains the projects quality and efficiency; and (4)
the advice and recommendations of panels and technical experts contributed to the
projects feasibility.
Keyword: IoT-Based Aeroponics System, Automation, Temperature, Humidity, pH
Level, Misting Interval
