Summary, etc. Footwear refers to anything that covers a person's feet. It is considered one of the essential things for humans. Proper footwear storage will save space and prevent damages, help the footwear keep its shape, and have long-term usability. Also, it allows the users to have easy access to their footwear. The study, Development of Automatic Carousel with Ultraviolet Light for Footwear Storage, aims to construct a design that saves more space compared to traditional footwear storage. With this prototype, the user can store footwear in 18 pairs and sanitize it. The unique feature of this prototype is that it has a microcontroller that will be controlled by push buttons that sends a signal to the magnetic sensors. With that, the magnetic sensors then dictate which specific drawer is needed by the user. The prototype involves a winch motor that is connected to the drawers through sets of sprockets and chains. The motor is responsible for the vertical movement of the drawers, and it is controlled by a microcontroller. The material used in the prototype's main body is perforated stainless sheets. The overall mean of the evaluation of the prototype is 4.34 and has a descriptive rating of very good. The result of the test conducted for the effectiveness and authenticity of the ultraviolet light were tested and concluded that it is capable of the sanitation of footwear.
