Summary, etc. Root crops are considered one of the healthy snacks that people used to eat. Cutting is one of the operations used for preparing a root crop, which is done manually by hand or by using a machine. Some food processing machines only come with a single function, resulting in consumers spending money to buy another food processing machine for different purposes. A multiprocessing machine for root crops is being developed in response to this. This equipment will help consumers in preparing root-crop-based foods much faster and safer. The multiprocessing machine for root crops is designed with three processing components, a housing that contains all three main components, two motors, and their electrical components. These three main components are securely mounted in the housing - peeler, slicer, and presser, it can process crops into desired shapes using interchangeable blades. The researchers measured the level of performance of the prototype in terms of functionality, workability, durability, safety, aesthetics, and economy that are answerable by a five-point Likert Scale and were distributed to the chosen respondents that are knowledgeable and experts in the field of food production and mechanical engineering. The results of the survey concluded that the multiprocessing for root crops is a manually operated machine that can process the root crops simultaneously and developed based on the designed specifications, dimensions, and availability of materials. The multiprocessing machine for root crops was improved and tested in accordance with its functionality.
