Dissertation note: College of Engineering-- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Technological University of the Philippines, 2021. Abstract: Designing and simulating a wind-powered water pump for vegetable garden irrigation is the goal of this project study. The device is intended to possess mechanical techniques that reduce the need for labor and enhance the speed at which water is pumped. The researchers created a three-dimensional (3-D) model of the wind-powered water pump for the watering of vegetable fields using SolidWorks Application. The 3-D model demonstrated, using SolidWorks simulation, that the mechanical movements of each section employed would function in accordance with the experimental and analytical studies. The specific materials used for each component were taken into consideration to prevent factors that prohibit the machine from moving properly from affecting the outcome of the mechanism. The researchers conducted their study using the project's planned construction area's average weather data. The results of the study demonstrated that considering all environmental parameters, the project can be operated with the wind at the site. The wind-powered water pump for irrigation of vegetable gardens thus demonstrated its efficiency and safety.-- Author's Abstract
