The study, Development of Mobile Application for Veterinary Clinic provides an information management system of pet healthcare records. It has features of scheduling appointments, cash/online payments, and generating reports. It can easily access on web browsers using android phone and a security feature that requires a valid ID for verification for quicker, safer, and systematic way. It includes features of automation notification, alert and feedback system, queuing, billing, record management, data analytics, result broadcasting/announcement and online consultation or access.
The system was developed using Android Studio, the PHP Server-Side APIs to the client-side Android Applications and Java (Android Development). Test result showed that the application software can be access in any Android device and all test data were processed as expected in terms of performance functionality accuracy. Summary of respondent evaluation using ISO 25010 was computed for arithmetic weighted mean of "4.28" with a descriptive rating of "Very Acceptable". Results shows the effectiveness and the acceptability itself signifies that the system is useful to pet owner veterinary doctors and per clinics.--Author's Abstract.
