"This study provides the farmers another intervention to control the wide spread of Golden Apple Snail (GAS) using newly developed of Green loT - Based Golden Apple Snail Bait Machine for Strategic Snail Management in Farming. The local farmers would benefit from the study as it promotes and supports green technology studies to succeed for the much-needed progress in agriculture sector. Descriptive method of research was employed using survey questionnaire and evaluation instruments as the major data gathering instruments from the 40
individuals.
Utilization of this machine is an environmentally friendly by using electromechanical application powered by solar energy. Compare to the existing method on how to control the GAS farmers need to apply chemicals that could contribute to harm the environment and the farmer himself.
The findings show that the farmers rated the project with the Overall Mean of 4.16 with the descriptive rating of Highly Acceptable. The forty (40) individuals' farmers come from four (4) Barangay in Imus Cavite. Moreover, the following acceptability criteria were highly rated by the respondents as follows: applicability (4.04 highly applicable); functionality (4.14 highly functional); maintainability (4.08 highly maintainable); reliability (4.14 highly reliable); economy (4.23 highly economical); safety (4.26 highly safe); and developed loT base (4.25 highly develop). Thus, the use of the machine is highly recommended.- Author's Abstract.
