Dissertation note: College of Science -- Bachelor of Science in Information Systems, Technological University of the Philippines, 2023. Abstract: WBACS uses web-based technologies to streamline every aspect of counseling, including arranging appointments, conducting sessions, and providing follow-up. For the front-end we used PHP and Bootstrap and for the back-end we used MySQL for the database, to implement features such as user registration, appointment scheduling, secure communication channels, and document sharing capabilities. Extensive testing was conducted to assess the system's performance and functionality, ensuring reliability, responsiveness, and security. Evaluation feedback from counselors and users emphasized the system's ease of use, convenience, and effective communication, while also providing valuable insights for further improvements. Overall the study highlights the potential of web-based appointment counseling systems in advancing mental health support in our increasingly digital world. WBACS's appointment scheduling feature, which enables clients to arrange counseling sessions based on counselor availability and selected time periods, is one of its important features. Counselors can safely submit session notes, evaluations, and resources to WBACS after each session so clients can access them through their individual accounts. This encourages continuity of care and gives clients the freedom to examine and consider the counseling procedure whenever convenient. Additionally, WBACS allows clients to contact their counselors as needed for help or clarification via facilities for secure messaging and asynchronous conversation. The system earned a remarkable mean score of 3.58 describe as "highly acceptable" thirty (30) Respondents. The system's success in achieving the project's goals was confirmed by this favorable rating. A thorough evaluation of the system quality was carried out utilizing the ISO 25010 software quality model.--Author's Abstract.
