Abstract: The study developed web-based document management software for the Technological University of the Philippines (TUP). The objectives of the study is to design a system with (a) user account that can be used by authorized end-users, (b) search engine for specific finding of documents and (c) action history for the reference of actions made by the user. The system is created by the use of PHP as programming language and NetBeans as its IDE, and data are save in MySQL Server. The software was evaluated by ten (10) respondents composed of IT students and faculty members from different departments from the Technological University of the Philippines using ISO 9126, an instrument that measures software quality. The overall mean rating was 4.55 interpreted as "Highly Acceptable". This indicates that the system exhibits the following characteristics: its functional, reliable, usable, efficient, maintainable and portable.--Author's Abstract.
