Filipinos frequently borrow costumes or clothing from family members, but since not everyone has a relative to borrow from, many people prefer to buy new costumes or clothing instead of renting it since they are unsure of or inexperienced with the rental process. Some people may find it more convenient or hassle-free to purchase brand-new clothing or costumes, but not everyone has the means to do so for a single event or occasion. But both the customer and the rental owner may find the renting process to be inconvenient. When a consumer visits a physical rental business, there are many factors to take into account, including traffic and the shop's location, which may be far from where the customer is. There is no assurance that their selected costume will be available when they need it, at that specific rental store, etc. Even if there is no assurance that a customer would rent costumes, clothes, etc., the rental owner must prepare space for everyone. The goal of this project is to create a costume rental system for rental costume shops, giving customers more options to choose from rather than having to visit various stores in person. Additionally, renting instead of buying will be more user-friendly and save both the buyer and the seller time and money. The researchers aim to make it simple for individuals to rent costumes and encourage them to do so rather than purchasing a new item, keeping it unused, allowing it to deteriorate, or ending up in a landfill.--Author's Abstract.
