The development of Carrent: Iot-Based Vehicle Rental System aimed to improve and serve the quality of transportation mode for customers, especially in car rentals. The purpose of this research was to enable the customers/users to efficiently manage schedule and select automobiles for rent. The researchers used agile methodology since this type of software development methodology helped the researchers in the planning, designing, implementation, and maintenance of the developed system. The developed system was evaluated in terms of functional suitability, performance efficiency, and compatibility. This study used secondary data and a survey questionnaire with a demonstration video to assess the criteria for specific activities. The obtained data were analyzed using a 4-point Likert scale to determine how each criterion will influence the study's final findings. Based on the results gathered from the respondents of the study, the system gained a positive response on the criteria of Functional Suitability. Overall, the system obtained a weighted mean rating of 3.41 described as "Very Acceptable". The results were noticeable that the respondents were satisfied with the performance of the developed system and the tracking algorithm implemented in the system efficiently performed its desired operation. Based on the information the researchers have gathered, the developed system for the car rental business with the integration of a scheduling and tracking algorithm was a useful and appropriate solution to the identified problems.--Author's Abstract.
