"The study is aimed to develop a web application called as TUP Library System with QR
Technology, It is designed (a) to become efficient for patrons upon login with the help of
QR technology, (b) to handle a large amount of data, (c) to generate reports within the
circulation of the library, and (d) to let the staff monitor the pending requests, loans, and
penalties of a patron with an ease of just clicking. The application is mostly developed
using PHP with Codeigniter framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, Ajax and
PostgreSQL. There were 30 respondents which were composed of 15 4th year students, 10
students inside the library, and 5 librarians of the University Library. The set of
evaluation criteria that was chosen for our research is based on ISO 25010 which tackles
the applications sustainability, efficiency, compatibility, usability, reliability, security and
maintainability. The criterion Security had the highest percentage of frequency staggering
at the percentage of 93%." -- Author's Abstract
