The researchers developed the “Mobile-Based Tutor Finder Application” that could help
students to find suitable mentors in terms of subject and teaching experience. The
application was designed with several features such as Tutor Searching, Scheduling,
Application View, Profile Editing, Performance Rating and Administrator Control. The
application was developed using Android Studio and then Sublime Text Editor for the
admin side. The application was evaluated using a survey instrument called ISO 25010
and based on the survey, the app was rated “Highly Acceptable” in terms of functionality,
usability, functionality, efficiency, reliability, maintainability and portability.
