The current generation of utilizing the internet to purchase things an individual needs or
wants has massively evolved through business operations across industries and platforms.
Seventh J Art Gallery Online Platform, a painting and sculpture platform, acknowledges
the importance of integrating ordering, inventory, transaction, generating reports, and
artworks and artist viewing process to provide a more efficient and hassle-free experience.
In response to these, the study entitled “Elevating Art E-Commerce: Seventh J Art Gallery
Online Platform” delved into the development of an online platform to eliminate the
manual process of ordering, inventory, transaction, and generating reports for buying
artworks such as paintings and sculptures. The system enabled the administrators to
manage products and artists, order, chat, and generate reports. Additionally, it enhanced
the customer experience by being able to see artworks on an online platform and thus not
need to physically visit the gallery, wide range of categories and filtering for an easier way
to search the artworks customer want to view, also simplifying the ordering process
through the integration of cart, checkout, and payment module ensuring customers to have
a convenient experience. This study was evaluated using the ISO 25010 evaluation
instrument based on Functional Suitability and Reliability to determine the level of
acceptability of the system. The result indicated that the developed system was highly
functional, with features that satisfied the required outcomes under various conditions, and
it is also deemed reliable, working as intended with the specified circumstances, obtaining
an overall mean of 3.87, described as “Highly Acceptable” from the thirty (30)
respondents. The study showed that developing an online platform for Seventh J Art
Gallery improved the customer experience and increased operational efficiency and sales
opportunities.
