The paper outlines the development and implementation of an E-bulletin board system for
the Technological University of the Philippines Manila - College of Science (TUPM-COS),
designed to enhance communication and information dissemination within the college
community. Utilizing modern web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP,
and MySQL, the system offers an intuitive platform for sharing announcements, events,
and updates efficiently. Administrators can seamlessly post announcements, ensuring
prompt delivery of information to students, faculty, and staff. The system features robust
archiving and document management capabilities, enabling efficient storage and retrieval
of past announcements and resources. It incorporates user authentication and role-based
access control to protect sensitive information and regulate user actions. Advanced
scheduling functionalities allow administrators to plan and prepare content for future
publication, ensuring organized and timely dissemination. An automated archiving process
keeps the system clutter-free by moving posts to the archive after their designated end
time. The system enhances user experience through versatile viewing capabilities,
accommodating different user preferences from traditional bulletin board displays to
mobile access. Users can manage their profiles to update information and maintain account
security. The development process adhered to stringent quality standards, including
rigorous testing based on ISO 25010 criteria, ensuring high reliability, efficiency, and
usability. This thorough evaluation process demonstrates the system's ability to improve
communication efficiency and foster collaboration among TUPM-COS stakeholders,
thereby contributing to the advancement of the academic community.
