This study, Development of Paper Straightening Device aimed to help students and
professors to lessen the time that they might use just. It is a prototype that automatically
makes the crumpled paper into straight paper. The device consists of four rollers, with two
heating mechanisms. The device will utilize a hybrid power source, which means it will
draw upon multiple types of energy to operate. The device has a lead-acid battery that
supports the device while it is not plugged into AC power source. The control system,
motors, and the battery is programmed using a Quaff board and the main body serves all
the components. The prototype was tested in efficiency, speed, power consumption, and
charging and discharging for battery test. It also was tested for three trials and identified
the success rate of the test. The prototype was evaluated by twenty respondents that can
benefit the device in the field of mechanical technology and it was rated 4.3, with a very
acceptable descriptive rating. The prototype was proven functional; however, it will need
a power source to operate the prototype.
