Dissertation note: College of Industrial Technology .-- Bachelor of Engineering Technology major in Mechanical Technology option in Welding Technology: Technological University of the Philippines, 2023. Summary: The project study, Motorized Motorcycle Lifter (Scooter) for Small Shops, especially designed for use in small motorcycle repair shops. Some of the motorcycle repair shops used a rock or some metal to lift or to maintain the balance of the motor while repairing it. The goal of the study is to make a lifter that can be used in small motorcycle repair shops while maintaining the balance and safety of the employees and the motorcycle. In the place where all the current lifters is too much to put inside the small shops or narrow streets. We come up with this idea to provide convenience when they have to deal inside the narrow streets. With this lifter the work of the employees will be faster and safer. Also with this prototype the owner of the motorcycle will be sure that the motorcycle will be handled with care and they will inspect and repair more carefully unlike the other shop that uses a rock or some metal to lift or maintain the balance of the motorcycle. All test data were processed as expected in terms of functionality, aesthetics, economy, workability, safety, and efficiency. The said prototype was evaluated by 20 evaluators composed of Bachelor of Industrial Technology professors, welding-related professionals, and independent welders with at least five (5) years of experiences of welding using a pre-recorded video of the prototype performing it’s function and was rated with an overall mean 4.85 with a descriptive rating of “Excellent.” The evaluators/respondents show that the prototype was operational functional, safe, durable, and affordable to it is price.
